Billy Vogel

Analyst

Billy Vogel is an Analyst at AeroDynamic Advisory, where he supports aerospace strategy and technical engagements through comprehensive market research, quantitative analysis, and competitive assessment.

Billy holds both a B.S.E. and M.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan. During his undergraduate studies, he completed an internship at Barnes Aerospace, where he worked as a repair engineer supporting engine component restoration and manufacturing operations. In this role, he gained hands-on experience with process planning, repair analysis and quoting, and shop-floor processes.

He later joined Pratt & Whitney as a manufacturing engineering intern, specializing in coatings and special processes for engine components. His work focused on improving process robustness, implementing new technologies in production methods, and supporting on-floor manufacturing engineering tasks. These experiences strengthened his understanding of propulsion systems, materials processing, and industrial operations within the aerospace supply chain.

Billy initially joined AeroDynamic Advisory as a summer intern following the completion of his undergraduate degree and continued contributing part-time while completing his graduate program. During this period, he supported engagements involving market segmentation, fleet modeling, technology assessment, and competitive benchmarking across multiple aerospace domains.

Billy is passionate about aviation and is a VFR-rated private pilot. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, sailing, and golfing.
